Hi! I'm Kati.

I’m a holistic health coach and I specialize in helping mother’s prioritize their well-being so they have more confidence and energy to raise happy, healthy children while living the life they truly crave.

My goal is to help you ditch the diet mentality, transform your relationship with food and your body, and create lasting healthy habits so you can live the life you truly crave.


I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness with a strong emphasis on nutrition and self-care. A few other things I believe:

  • I believe most mothers are genuine care takers and heart-centered women who tend to put everyone else’s needs before themselves. I’m here to help change that.

  • I believe being a mother is the absolute most important job you will ever have and in order to do your best you must first take care of yourself. It is possible and I will show you how.

  • I believe you deserve happiness, nourishment, and fulfillment. I’m determined to help you embody these feelings.

  • I believe true health and happiness begins from the inside out. I will teach you how to fuel yourself with whole foods, nourish your soul through meditation, and live a joyful life.

The thing is, you already have everything you need to create the life of your dreams -- I’m just here to help remind you how amazing you are and to support you on your journey to optimal health, wellness and happiness.

So you may be wondering, who am I and why should you trust me?

Well, I’m Kati, a mother to two cute kids, a crazy little pooch and engaged to my high school sweetheart. I'm a certified health coach and full-time student studying health science with a concentration on wellness and a minor in holistic integrative health. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie, yoga lover, and I have dreams of traveling the world. 

After years of trying to find myself and figure out my passion, I finally got the courage to follow my heart and make my dreams come true. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, but I struggled for the past 10 years to figure out exactly how I could help others in a way that was in alignment with my beliefs and passion. I had my daughter when I was fairly young  and I quickly had to decide on my priorities and how to best provide for my family. This meant that I spent years in unfulfilled jobs, but I was happy to take care of my family.

I continued for years going to school, changing my major multiple times, in hopes to eventually land my dream job (even though I was still unsure what that would be). I never gave up hope and I definitely wasn’t ready to accept the “american dream” of working at an office or corporate job for the rest of my life. Now, don’t get me wrong, I was happy and blessed to have decent jobs, but I just knew there was more to life and that I was meant for something different.



My passion for health and wellness began after having my children. I wanted to raise healthy kids and I always felt like I had an extra 10-15 pounds of baby weight to lose. I never felt satisfied with the way my body looked or how I felt. I began reading every health and nutrition book possible and subscribed to all the health and fitness magazines. I became obsessed with being healthy. The thing is, I never actually became healthy. I was going from fad diet to fad diet or eating the highly processed “health” foods. I would start a new diet or try the latest trend, only to binge eat a bag of chips or cookies a few days later. As obsessed as I was, I couldn’t understand why I felt like I had no control over my food choices. I wasn’t losing weight and I didn’t have much energy or feel any better. I struggled with nutrition confusion for years and always beginning a diet on Monday only to quit it by Thursday. This way of living went on for years and it was no way to live. It’s no wonder, I wasn’t noticing any great health benefits. I often blamed my inability to truly get healthy on my stressful job or over exhaustion, which let’s be honest were definitely a huge reason, but not the only reason. I needed to create long lasting healthy habits and change my lifestyle. I needed to learn to truly deal with my emotions, but at the time I did not know how to do this.



On the day of my daughter’s 7th birthday party, I got a call that would change my life. My dad had suffered from cardiac arrest and a heart attack. He had literally died for 45 minutes. The next few days and weeks were spent wondering if my dad would live and if he did, if there would be permanent brain damage or other health concerns. To make a long, traumatic story short, he survived and made a full recovery (a true miracle). Now, the reason this was a life changing moment for me was for a few different reasons. With all of the health and nutrition research I had previously done, I knew that heart disease was a lifestyle-related disease and could be prevented and treated with proper nutrition. I also came to the realization that life really is too short and can be taken from you at any moment. It’s important to be happy and follow your dreams even if it scares you because you are never guaranteed tomorrow. I knew I needed to use my knowledge and experience to help others get healthy (to hopefully avoid a situation like my fathers) and to also inspire others to live a life that lights them up.

After my father’s near death experience, I began to take action on changing my lifestyle and start pursuing my dreams without hesitation. I finally started to eat healthy whole foods more consistently while practicing yoga a few times a week. I began to meditate and journal. I booked a vacation to Summer Camp with a bunch of grown woman without knowing one person (which was completely out of my comfort zone, but an amazing learning experience). I traveled alone. I faced a lot of fears and began to really grow. I enrolled back in school and also started a health coaching course. I was working full time, taking 3 courses and had another moment of realization. I was completely overwhelmed and full of anxiety from trying to do it all. For two weeks straight, I was dizzy and nauseous and did not feel well at all. After a visit with the doctor, I realized the stress and anxiety was getting to me and affecting my health. Using some of the techniques from my health coaching course, I began to improve my heath again. I knew it was time to make the full transition of leaving my job and pursue my dreams of starting my own business while going to school full-time.



Today, I am happier and healthier than I’ve ever been in my life. I have motivation, energy, and passion that I’ve been holding inside for far too long. I’m ready to make an impact in other people’s lives and in the world. It hasn’t been easy to get to this place, and I still wouldn’t say I’m done growing or exactly where I want to be yet, but I’m heading in the right direction and for the first time I am confident of where I'm going and my purpose in this world.
